The KSGYR311M series three-axis universal angular rate gyro is developed by Kacise for measuring three-axis angular rates. Each axis utilizes MEMS technology chips, offering high performance, low cost, reliability, and rugged packaging with Self-Test functionality.
The KSGYR311M operates on the resonator gyro principle. Two polysilicon sensitive structures, each containing a high-frequency vibrating frame, are electrostatically driven to resonate. The frame's outer ends form a capacitance-sensitive structure that detects Coriolis motion from angular rates, generating an electrical signal processed through amplification and modulation stages to output a proportional angular rate signal.
